Modern Drives and Controls, established in 1990, has developed a reputation over the years for delivering quality electrical control gear, power transmission equipment and DC injection braking systems. Customers are predominantly located in the UK, Ireland and Nigeria.
The company came into being following a management buyout of the long-established Midland Dynamo Company by Steve Hand, Malcolm Mee and Graham Doughty. Due to the company’s focus on high quality customer service, Modern Drives and Controls has seen significant growth, despite recent tough economic conditions.
Today, the company distributes drives, power transmission and electronic control products and manufactures small control panels and DC braking systems. From small to large OEMs and big multinationals, Modern Drives and Controls provides complete solutions across many industries.
